Since 1996, Funky Fish has been catering to the ever-changing needs and tastes of teens and young female adults, addressing five distinct (and often ignored) consumer segments. Offering a variety of fun and original fashion accessories and gifts, this retailer has seen incredible international success over the past several years.
Customers have the freedom to choose how they want to express themselves and their style based on the Funky Five Concept, which proposes five unique collections: Funky Boho, Funky Chic, Funky Punky, Funky Diva and Funky Pop. More than 1,000 original items are designed each year including costume jewelry, hair accessories, belts, bags, watches and seasonal gifts.
Funky Fish is currently present in over 25 countries, spanning 4 continents and including 170 concept stores and 300+ points of sale. Their business model is based on three forms of cooperation:
- Major Retailers: may purchase collections directly for sales in their retail network
- Wholesale/ Distribution: designated sales channels, pre-agreed categories or collections
- Master Franchisee: for countries or territories
The Funky Fish Master Franchise Package grants each member of its network rights to use the Funky Fish Trademark, Know-How, Operating Methodology and Systems, and distribute the range of products via Concept Stores, Sub-franchisees, Shops-in-Shop and Points of Sale for a period of 3-5 years. Entering into a partnership with Funky Fish, Master Franchisees receive a complete support package including training, quality control, promotional materials and the development of products and concepts tailored to local market needs.
