Participants flood Cannes in preparation for the big event as the Palais de Festival turns into a colourful retail paradise!
It was an early start for those in Cannes this morning. There’s nothing quite like the excitement and rush before the big show. Clients, exhibitors, service providers and organisers race throughout the grounds as they hurry to prepare their stands and greet more than 8,500 expected participants this year.
After a spin by the Digital Summit to hear the opening remarks by KPMG and Robert Tercek, I was lucky enough to get a chance to surf through the Palais and take a few pictures of the stands “under construction.”
Highlights for tomorrow include an opening keynote from beforementioned Robert Tercek, inspirational and world renowned speaker specialised in the digital entertainment field. To get a glimpse of just how great his keynote will be, I caught a few seconds from his opening speech at the Digital Summit. Check it out!
Other highlights for tomorrow morning include the Conference at 11.30 on Culture and Shopping: can we make it work?, and Shaping Retail in Transit Hubs: Current and Future Trends.
You mustn’t miss the Keynote by Maxim Karbasnikoff, Head of retail at Cushman & Wakefield at 15.00 and Retailers Expansion in Russian market: Risks and Opportunities at 16.00. Top the day off with a special cocktail by the BNP European Retail Survey at Riviera Stand R 29.01!
