Located 1,5 km to the north of the city centre of Brasov, the Coresi project intends to become a “natural attraction” centre, featuring shops, leisure services, an Auchan hypermarket and a retail park of 100 hectares.

Developed by Immochan, it aims to be an alternative destination to the city centre for the 650,000 inhabitants of its catchment area and its 400,000 tourists. Architect SUA KAY will take a bold architectural and environmental approach with a 650-meters high frontage facing the Carpathians and colourful mosaics.

The Coresi centre will be open, affording transparency and natural light with its many windows. The design includes the use of ecological materials, waste recycling and a 39,000 m² green space as part of its commitment to BREEAM very good certification. It is due to open in 2013.
