For the 8th year in a row, UK property giants trade in 1st class for courage and sweat, as they raise money for charity and pedal their way to Cannes for the start of MIPIM.
Cycle to Cannes, the 6 day endurance event taking leaders of the property industry from London to Cannes for the start of MIPIM, has announced that Broadgate Estates, the specialist Property and Asset Management Company, will be its title sponsor for the eighth edition of the challenge in 2013. Cyclists are set to depart the 7th and arrive in Cannes, the12th March. Nearly 80 cyclists will participate this year and ride the 1,500km route as one peloton with the ultimate aim of raising £200,000 for charity.
The ride has become a must-do event for the property industry as the peloton hosts many of the world’s most influential professionals in the property industry. Friendly camaraderie and networking takes place on the road and riders are able to make useful contacts ahead of MIPIM while generating money for charity, with two thirds of the funds going to Coram – the UK’s first ever children’s charity.
Cycle To, the organisers behind the annual fundraising Cycle to Cannes MIPIM ride, is pleased to announce that it has secured sponsorship from a number of key companies in development, architecture or planning within the UK property industry.
Titanium sponsor is market-leading property and asset management company Broadgate Estates.
