Alexandra Notay operates as an independent advisor to a range of global organisations from the public and private sectors, providing strategic advice and initiative leadership. Her areas of expertise include city economic development, real estate, regeneration and sustainability. Susan Freeman is an experienced real estate lawyer and Partner at Mishcon de Raya. Her in depth understanding of the property market allied to her business training (she is a graduate of the prestigious Sloan Masters MSc Programme in Leadership and Strategy at London Business School) and her wide circle of contacts make for a formidable combination. She is ranked in Property Week’s 2012 Women’s Power List, which pronounced her “a world-class networker” with “a contact book full of CEOs“. Susan writes regularly on property industry issues for Property Week.
François Ortalo-Magné is the Albert O. Nicholas Dean of the Wisconsin School of Business. He is also the leading adviser and producer of research on global determinants of housing prices and housing market fluctuations. He joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001, after serving as the Robert E. Wangard professor of real estate and urban land economics at the School of Business, and chair of the department from 2008 to 2011. On top of his academic achievements, he is a political powerhouse who serves as economic advisor to the French government on land use and housing issues. He will be accompanied by students of the full-time two-year real estate MBA programme, who will share their perspective as the next generation of MIPIM attendees.
Michael Lagazo has held leadership roles at some of the largest commercial real estate companies including Westfield Group and Forest City. Michael optimizes performance and drives financial results for top commercial real estate projects in the U.S. Among his projects, Michael managed a 1.7 MSF coastal luxury development and was a shopping center executive at Forest City’s 160-acre super regional center, Victoria Gardens. Highlighted inShopping Centers Today, Wall Street Journal, Commercial Property Executive, National Mortgage Professional, Michael holds an MBA as well as a dual Bachelor’s Degree in business.
Johanne Royer is the founding president of Könige Communications, a communications agency that distinguishes itself through its strategic communication approach and by its ability to achieve goals by offering clients a range of integrated services, including communication counseling, branding, web strategy and design, public relations and event planning. She is also the official representative of MIPIM in Canada.
Greg Clark is a city advisor and mentor, and MIPIMWorld’s cities moderator. He’s a property expert who has brought in a host of guest bloggers to the Cities section of the blog for this year’s MIPIM. On top of his work with MIPIM, Clark also boasts several titles, including Senior Fellow, Urban Land Institute, Europe, and Lead Advisor, World Bank Urbanisation Knowledge Platform.

Andreas Schiller is publisher and editor-in-chief of SPH Newsletter, a publication that forecasts top trends and tendencies in the central, eastern and southeastern European real estate and investment markets, as well as Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. He built his career in the 1990s while working as Editor-in-Ehief for specialised German magazine Immobilien Manager, later becoming its publisher from 2003 to 2007. After years focused exclusively on Germany, Schiller broadened his horizons by working as an editor for European Real Estate, and at Moscow Special, before founding Schiller Publishing House in 2010. He is also a regular contributor to Frankfurter Allgemeine and Der Standard.
Clare Dobson is Marketing & Communications Manager for the Chapman Taylor (@chapman_taylor) group and is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the marketing strategy and brand across the group. Ever enthusiastic, she is passionate about the positive effect that good communication has in the modern day workplace and strives to promote the idea that successful marketing can be grown from within a company and be influential in defining external perceptions.
Bryan Masters is currently working towards his Master of Science in Real Estate degree at the University of San Diego while working as an analyst for a real estate investment firm.
