Retailer of Week: Miroglio Fashion

Today MAPIC is presenting to you our Retailer of Week: Miroglio Fashion, a part of Miroglio Group, a leading Italian fashion and textile company counting a huge range of fashionable ready-to-wear clothing brands. The Group owns 49 companies in 34 countries around the world and more than 2,000 single-branded stores. Its annual production is around 18 million garments.

Established in 1947 in Alba, Italy, by Giuseppe Miroglio, this prestigious Italian fashion icon brand expanded rapidly in Southern Italy and around the country. Since the 1950s, Miroglio Group has been designing, manufacturing and commercialising exceptional Italian fashionable clothing. Miroglio Fashion, the division dedicated to mass-production of fashionable women clothing, was called “Vestebene” in the 1950s (which means literally “you look great in that”). A world retail chain, the brand owes their success to over 60-years history of manufacturing & design working with leading Italian stylists such as Moshino and Krizia. Their philosophy is simple: wear a stylish Miroglio’s outfit that matches your personality, and you will feel great and comfortable.

This April 2014, Miroglio Fashion opened the “Miroglio Piazza Della Scala”, 600 sq. meters concept store with 13 windows in the heart of Milan, where they tried to enhance style by comfort . The new store sells a wide array of products – Miroglio brands such as the Caractère and Elena Mirò collection – and is dedicated to creating a unique shopping experience where style is enhanced by comfort.
